Radiant Security was one of the early AI SOC names, and plenty of teams had it on a shortlist. A change of ownership in 2026 means many of them are now looking at Radiant Security alternatives.
What Radiant built
Radiant offered an adaptive AI SOC platform that triaged alerts from a wide range of sources, with built-in log management so teams could store and search security logs without paying for a separate SIEM. In August 2026, Cribl bought Radiant’s AI SOC technology and said it would adapt it to run on Cribl’s telemetry platform.
Why buyers are reviewing their options
The acquisition is the main driver. Current customers want clear answers on roadmap, support and packaging as the product moves into Cribl.
Teams that were evaluating Radiant are restarting their search, often looking for a vendor whose roadmap is focused entirely on security operations.
Five alternatives compared
For a wider view of the market, see our guide to AI SOC vendors.
| Option | How it works | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Exaforce | Agentic SOC with its own data platform and MDR | Teams wanting triage, response and data in one place |
| Intezer | AI triage with forensic analysis | Endpoint and phishing alerts |
| Dropzone AI | AI analyst for Tier 1 investigation | Adding AI triage to current tools |
| Torq | Hyperautomation-led AI SOC | Teams with heavy workflow needs |
| Prophet Security | AI analyst with hunting and detection agents | Teams wanting triage and hunting |
Exaforce: AI agents with storage built in
Like Radiant, Exaforce pairs AI triage with its own data layer. The Data Platform uses intelligent storage tiering and links events to a model of identities and resources as they arrive. Exabot agents then detect, triage, investigate and respond from that shared context, so log retention and investigation live in the same system.
Next steps
Existing Radiant customers should ask Cribl for a firm roadmap and support commitment ahead of their next renewal.
If you are re-evaluating, trial your shortlist on real alerts and include log search and retention in the test, so the comparison covers everything Radiant handled for you.
