Priority Pass Discount for Lounge Access

Table of Contents

The best Priority Pass discount is often not a promo code. It’s choosing the right tier or getting the membership through a credit card you already pay for. Here’s how the pricing works and when a discount actually saves money.

Priority Pass Prices

Priority Pass sells three annual plans in the U.S.:

Plan Annual fee Member visits Guest visits
Standard $99 $35 each $35 each
Standard Plus $329 10 free, then $35 $35 each
Prestige $469 Unlimited free $35 each

Guests pay $35 on every tier, including Prestige.

Priority Pass Discount Offers

Priority Pass runs promotions from time to time, usually for a new member’s first year.

As of late October 2026, deal sites report an offer of 20% off Standard, which cuts the first-year price from $99 to $79 and reportedly runs until November 15. Standard Plus and Prestige were listed at full price. Check the price at checkout on prioritypass.com before buying, because terms change.

Be careful with coupon sites. Many list codes that are expired or never existed. A discount applies to the annual fee, not to the $35 visit fees.

Pick the Right Tier First

A 20% discount on the wrong plan still costs you more. Count lounge visits, not flights. A round trip with a lounge each way is two visits.

  •             Up to 6 visits a year: Standard is cheapest. Six visits cost $99 + $210 = $309.
  •             7 to 14 visits: Standard Plus is cheapest. Seven visits on Standard would cost $344, versus $329.
  •             15 or more visits: Prestige wins. Fifteen visits on Standard Plus cost $329 + $175 = $504, versus $469.

Example with the promo: At 79,Standardstaysthecheaperplanuptosevenvisits(79 + $245 = $324). From eight visits, Standard Plus at full price costs less.

Getting Priority Pass Free With a Credit Card

The cheapest Priority Pass is the one you don’t pay for separately. Two popular premium cards include Priority Pass Select membership at no extra cost:

Card Card annual fee Priority Pass member visits Free guests
The Platinum Card from American Express $895 Unlimited Up to 2
Chase Sapphire Reserve $795 Unlimited Up to 2

“Free” here means included with the card. Neither card is worth its annual fee for Priority Pass alone, but if you already hold one, buying a separate membership makes no sense.

Each card adds its own lounges too. Amex Platinum includes Centurion Lounges. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders with the card’s Priority Pass get unlimited visits to Chase Sapphire Lounges.

Three things to know:

  •             Enrollment is required. Showing your credit card at the lounge isn’t enough. You enroll through your card’s benefits page and use the Priority Pass card or app.
  •             Card versions can be narrower. Amex-issued Priority Pass memberships don’t cover Priority Pass restaurants and some other non-lounge “experiences.”
  •             Holding both cards doesn’t add anything. You get one set of lounge access. Pick the card whose other benefits you’ll actually use.

Before chasing a Priority Pass discount, check whether a card you already hold, such as Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve, includes the membership. If you’re buying one, count your lounge visits per year, choose the cheapest tier for that number, and only then apply any promotion.
